"Marty Jr isn't exactly likeable on his own, so I wanted to include some kind of future kit and I was keen to find something that only Marty Jr used or connected with. The Garden Centre fruit basket is summoned by Marty Jr in the kitchen scene at the future McFly home which is full of crazy gadgets and foods like the Kelp Tea on the table. Its nice that alongside the typical future inventions like TV glasses and video phones, the film makers included a healthy innovation like the home fruit garden."
